I’m a country girl who’s born and bred in Derbyshire, and the countryside and quiet country house hotels are where I’m most at home away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Saying that, I do love visiting cities, and I can easily adapt to both environments.
People I meet admire my honesty and I’m told I am very natural, open and make people feel very comfortable. I guess it’s because I genuinely enjoy meeting new people. I’m a bit of a chatterbox (but in a good way :), but more importantly I’m a good listener.
I believe if you treat people how you would like to be treated you can’t go far wrong in life.
I love to try new experiences and some of my favourite experiences include, sky diving and hand gliding in New Zealand, seeing Formula one in Monaco, watching England play rugby, a hot air balloon ride over Derbyshire, shooting (pistol and rifle), off roading and scuba diving (advanced PADI qualified).
I also have a passion for theatre, fine food and wine, together with stimulating conversation. I possess excellent communication skills, and can mix well with people in all levels of society, making me great company in any situation.
The arts are something that excite and enthuse me; a Shakespeare play, ballet, orchestra, opera. I also equally enjoy musicals and live concerts.
Being single allows me the freedom to enjoy meeting new people and visiting new places, ensuring you are spending quality time with someone who cares about your pleasure.
I have travelled extensively throughout Europe and I have visited the far East, and the USA on a couple of occasions. I have been fortunate enough to spend 4 months in Australia and New Zealand, which was a truly exciting and memorable experience.
